I am on a committee which selects the CLA YA Book of the Year winner and honour books, for Canadian teen fiction. That means that I have to read a lot of books in a year, submitted by publishers. The winner has been announced, but before I donate all the books on my shelf to make room for the next year's submissions, I thought I'd see if I could make any poems using ONLY books which were submitted for this year.
